Legendairy milkshakes in Nashville
This post provides pictures to accompany the transcript of the My Mate In… podcast episode: 16. Side Quest x Nashville x The Legendairy Milkshake Bar.
Hi there. Welcome to this episode of My Mate In…, a good vibes only show about yummy places to eat or have a drink.
This time around, I have another Side Quest episode about a place I found on my own adventures in Nashville, USA.
I want to tell you about The Legendairy Milkshake Bar. Yes, legendairy – d a i r y. You’ll find this milkshake bar in downtown Nashville.
The milkshakes are legendary because they aren’t your standard flavour options, like chocolate, strawberry, or caramel. They are a whole dessert in, on and around a glass. Expect syrups, sprinkles, marshmallows, cream, biscuits, and candy all heaped on to and stuck to the side of your shake.

There are many fun flavours to choose from, such as the cereal killer (as in, breakfast cereal), the Cookie Monster, and mint chip brownie to rattle off just a few. They have a couple of dairy free and gluten free options.
When we visited we had the Campfire S’mores. It had Rocky Road ice cream, chocolate icing on the rim of the glass, roasted mini marshmallows, whipped cream, marshmallow & chocolate sauces, a graham cracker and one jumbo roasted marshmallow. It was fun to look at and to eat. You can check out the show notes for a link to my blog with pictures from our visit, as well as their website, to see for yourself.
To get through these milkshakes you need more than a straw and they are filling. You might considering going with a friend and sharing one shake or getting one each and having little samples of each others.
Heads up that the size options are not totally intuitive for folks from countries where ounces aren’t commonly used. We ended up with a pretty cute little shake because we didn’t really understand what 8 ounces was going to be like. All for the best in the end given it was so sweet and topped with goodies.
The Legendairy Milkshake Bar also do a range of flavoured hot chocolates and cappuccinos. These are a good dessert option on those colder days.
This place is a family friendly dessert option, great for groups. Check it out if you are ever going through Nashville.
