Aged care and burnout: Exploring the research
Abstract
With an ageing population, Australia will need to vastly expand our aged care workforce to meet future demands. How then, can we support aged care workers and ensure they don’t become burnt-out? This webinar presents research on the experiences of burnout, work-home conflict, and patient aggression within people working in aged care, including members of the NSW Nursing and Midwives Association (NSWNMA) who provided their experiences.
Presented By:
Charbella Nandan – a Provisional Psychologist and a disability support worker. Charbella is currently undergoing a Master of Professional Psychology.
